On Sunday, June 22, we will have a parish meeting in order to receive your feedback and answer any questions that you might have for planning for the future. Please turn the paperwork in next week by putting it in the basket. We will have only one (1) Divine Liturgy at 10:30.

The questions that we are looking for feedback on: For the future of the parish, what plans ought we to focus on? How do we get the youth more involved?

Free for altar boys, and under 12. Also, we ask you to donate cakes for desert. We trust that all parishioners will join this parish gathering and through their presence attest to cherishing in our hearts a love for one another which builds our PARISH FAMILY. We will not sell tickets at the door. All profit is to cover the expenses of church hall renovation.

The 20th Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by New Haven’s UNA, Branch 414, will be held on Palm Sunday, Sunday 13, at Noon, on the Parish Grounds. It is open to parish youth and Ridna Shkola students from ages 0-13.

We will have the Ukrainian Easter Bazaar, Sunday, April 13th from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm. You can buy Easter baskets, Ukrainian jewelry, candles, souvenirs, Easter cards, embroidery clothes, pastries, homemade food, Egg decorating supplies, etc.

The Parish has put together a plan of action to bring our hall to modern standards. Being able to rent the hall out for weddings, christening and various social events will help the parish financially. A fundraising program for the work has begun with the Christmas Bazaar and Christmas caroling program. The program which was begun last year with air conditioning the hall continue with painting the ceiling grid-work, replacing ceiling tiles, sheet-rocking the entire hall, new effect lighting and painting it. Any donations to this modernization project will be greatly appreciated. The checks should be payable to the Church and given to Natalie Chermak of Fr. Iura. Any volunteers who would like to help prepare the hall for painting and sheet-rocking are welcome to sign up. Any questions or volunteering, please contact Fr. Iura or Chris Komondy 860-759-2723.
