KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS “COATS FOR KIDS PROJECT” Dear Parishioners, Recently at our children at the St. Nicholas party every child received a gift of winter coat. We did receive a plea for help from a sister organization to provide coats for orphan children in Ukraine who have lost one or both of their parents due to the war. The initial request was for 4000 coats. This was increased to 477 coats. We currently either have coats or the funds to purchase 257 coats. We also have funds set aside for shipping. We are requesting help to fund the balance of 220 coats. The need is urgent and of course time-sensitive. We are asking for donations to help fund the increased request.Any donations for this effort will be gratefully appreciated. Checks should be made out to KofC-Ukrainian Relief Fund. Please give the checks to Fr. Iura, Andy Bamber or Chris Komondy. Any questions, please feel free to call 860-759-2723. Thank you for your support.
