Parish announcements this week

5. KOLIADA: Dear parishioners, in the vestibule you will find special Koliada envelopes. If you would like to make a donation to the Koliada (Ukrainian Christmas Carols), please enclose your donation, write your name on the envelope and drop the envelope into the collection basket during the Divine Liturgies.  Thank You!

6. Dear Parishioners: As you may know, Mr. & Mrs. Yuriy Faryna have recently suffered a tragic loss when their house burned to the ground. They have lost their home and most of their possessions, as they struggle to get back on their feet, I would humbly ask that you all consider making a gift donation to help them. There are gift envelops in the vestibule of the church. If you would like to assist this family, please place your gift in these envelops and place them in the collection baskets. Checks should be made out to “Yuriy Faryna” or you may give cash. All gift donations will be forwarded directly to the family. Thank You! Fr. Iura Godenciuc.

7. Blessing of Homes: If you would like to bless your house please fill the form that are in the vestibule or call the rectory office.

8. Hall Roof Repair: in the vestibule of the church there are reports regarding the status of the Hall Roof Repair. Please take a copy and review the contents. Thank you!    Fr. Iura

9. ST. GIANNA CENTER OF NEW HAVEN: For Great Lent, would you make a donation of diapers sizes: 3, 4, and 5. We are in need of these items for children at-risk.

10. BULLETIN UPDATES: Dear parishioners. As you may have noticed their have been some changes and improvements to your parish bulletin over the past six months. In a continuing effort to make the bulletin more parishioner friendly, I call upon you to let me know what else you would like to see and or change. And as always I appreciate the various information materials that you are providing. I look forward to your responses. Father Iura.

11. CELL PHONES: Etiquette for using a cell phone in Church: Check device settings BEFORE entering the church (most will usually do this on the way to church). Disable the pesky notification center banners, popups, badges, and sounds by switching to airplane mode. As a double precaution, turn vibration off for all events that you normally select to vibrate when on silent mode (incoming calls, emails, etc.). Keep your device out of sight until needed. Reading your messages or Facebook page, just like reading the bulletin during the homily is impolite. Your discretion is called upon in the sacred place.
