CONNECTICUT STATE UKRAINIAN DAY COMMITTEE

Dear Festival Committee Members and Clergy:

The date for the upcoming Post-Festival Appreciation Dinner, hosted by our Bishop, the Most Rev. Paul Chomnycky, OSBM, has been set for Sunday, November 5th at St. Basil’s Seminary in Stamford. At this dinner we will also have the distribution of funds earned from the 50th Connecticut State Ukrainian Day Festival held on September 10th.

A final, brief meeting will commence at 2:00 p.m. in the Seminary Music Room, followed by the dinner at 4:00 p.m.

The festival had beautiful weather and was very successful both from attendance and funds raised. We wish to thank all the members who worked that day and to the many parishioners who helped make all the food that was donated, as well as those who helped set up on Saturday. We also would like to thank the pastors for their help and prayers, as well as the Seminary for their beautiful grounds.

As always, we ask pastors and committee members to extend a cordial invitation to members of all respective parishes who gave of their time and labors, either in the parish kitchens preparing the foods to be sold, or those who worked on the day of the festival toward its success.

We ask that clergy take an approximate count of all attending, in fairness to the Catechists who will be preparing the meal. Please call the Seminary office at 203-324-4578 by no later than Friday, November 3rd with your count of those planning on attending.

In addition, we ask that everyone please arrive promptly at the designated time in order to be fair to those traveling from longer distances.

We look forward to seeing all of you on November 5, 2017.

Sincerely Yours In Christ
